By AdminNOTE THERE WILL BE A GM IN JANUARY 2025 …. 7th STARTING AT 8PM
The club Christmas function held at the Pirates Tavern was a huge success, we had 37 members of the 40 who RSVP’d attend and made the day a big success. A big thankyou to Sandy for organizing the venue and catering, Ken for making sure that all our members were looked after, The Pirates Tavern, Wendy and staff for allowing us to use their venue free of charge and of course Jackies Pizza for the catering, altogether this makes for a memorable day in the sun.
For those of you who didn’t purchase one of our fantastic 2025 Club Calendars, there is a printable A4 2025 calendar been sent to all members, it has also been published in Issue 6 of the HBF for 2024, fand it is also available to download via the “Ride and Events Calendar” section of this site.
Congratulations to Goff M. on receiving the 2024 Clubbie of the Year, a well-deserved recipient, one who puts in a lot of time to help make your club a welcoming and successful organization. He received his award at the Christmas function, and for once was a little lost for words. We will be doing an official presentation at the January GM once we have had his name added to the plaque, I believe the drinks are on Goff !!??
The position of Social Secretary remains available and is being covered by the committee, so if you would like to take on the position of Social Secretary, or if you want to make a difference and support your club, put up your hand and contact the committee, it’s not hard and there is always plenty of support if needed.
The next GM will be on the 4th of February 2025 at the Customs House Hotel begining at 8pm. So come along a bit earlier, order a meal and a drink, support the Customs House Hotel that supports our club and mingle with all the other members doing the same.
In an effort to better service our members we continue to gather “Emergency contact information”. This would be used in the event that we need to make contact with your family/loved one on your behalf.
The Classics “last Tuesday of the month” gatherings have been held at Monzarella Restaurant 231 Nelson Place Williamstown so keep an eye out for an email, just in-case we decide to move. Remember that you don’t have to have a “Classic Motorcycle” to participate in the classic rides or events.
Check out our events calendar for details on what’s happening next.
