3rd : Classics Ride ; This short ride will be catering for the older bikes in our club that don’t want to be travelling vast distances, therefore we will be heading to Anglers Anchorage General Store, Werribee South. As always, all bikes are welcome and if you want to continue onto a larger ride, that can always be organized with others on the day. see you at Cafe Cerino!

This is Melbourne Cup day, but our meeting will be going ahead as normal, see you there!
17th : Club Ride ; As the planned ride to Clunes in northwestern Victoria was cancelled due to an extreme weather event, a few did venture out for an impromptu ride which took in Bachus Marsh, Ballan for lunch, Merideth, Stieglitz, Anakie and return through Werribee. The Clunes ride has been rescheduled to December.
24th : Geelong Revival ; We will be conducting a ride to the iconic Geelong Revival, leaving from Cafe Cerino at 10am, there will also be a pickup at Little River BP Truck stop on the hiway at 10:30am for those who reside out the west. This is certainly an event to see, free to all spectators, and a great day out for motoring enthusiasts.

Our Christmas function will again be held at the Pirates Tavern at the rear of 82 Nelson Place Williamstown, from 12:30pm. please notify Sandy through the Classics Co-Ordinator’s email classics@wmcc.org.au if you are planning on attending and how many, non members will be required to pay a $25 fee if they are having lunch.
15th : Club Ride ; Clunes in northwestern Victoria, approx. 36km north of Ballarat.
In 1850 Clunes was the site of Victoria’s first gold strike, which lead to a gold rush that swept through central Victoria and beyond. The great wealth generated led to massive migration and Victoria being declared a colony 1 July 1851. Today many of its Gold Rush era buildings remain, making Clunes a tourist destination used for television and cinematic productions.

7th : Classics Ride ; Departing Cafe Cerino at approx. 10am, we will be heading to Werribee South and Wyndham Harbour. This is a short ride that will cater for all those old classics that don’t ordinarily travel all that far. Arrangements can be made at Wyndham Harbour for those who wish to continue on for a longer ride.
21st : Club Ride ; This ride will be to Mount Tarrengower which is approx. 150km from Cafe Cerino. Mt.Tarrengower is on the outskirts of Maldon in central Victoria and is the home of the Mt Tarrengower Historic Hill Climb.
Friday 26th to Sunday 28th : Non Club Event (although quite a few members do attend); ALL BRITISH RALLY (BSA Motorcycle Owners Association Inc.) http://bsa.asn.au/html/events/abr/index.html held at the Old Newstead Racecourse Reserve in central Victoria.

May 2024
5th : Classics Ride ; The classic ride will be to the Darraweit Valley Cider House.
We will be taking off from Cafe Cirino at 10am. Rick will be running leading which (by his own admission) leaves the option of wrong turns here and there but hopefully not too many. There will be a bit of freeway involved since alternatives to avoid it seem worse but, depending on the bikes, I’ll travel appropriately. The destination is approx. 80 km (one way) so not too far for the older machines.
19th : Club Ride ; Some members (Including our ride Captain) will be attending the Distinguished Gentlemens ride, this ride is for Classic and vintage style motorcycles, dressing dapper and riding to raise funds and awareness for men’s mental health and prostate cancer research. so he won’t be leading our 3rd Sunday run! if you would like to go on this ride you can make your own way to the event.
This weekend just happens to be “National Motoring Heritage” day, so there are many organized events around the state paying homage to the motor vehicle. One such event is being run from Geelong to Anglesea, another is being held in Trentham, we will make a decision on Sunday morning which of them generates the most interest. So come along and help us make a decision.
26th : Club Go Kart event; We have arranged a Go Kart event for club members who would like to try their skills on four wheels, participation requires the deposit to be paid in advance, so if you are interested, get in quick by contacting Goff.M. (Membership Officer) “membership@wmcc.org.au”

2nd : Classics Ride ; This Sunday we shall meet for a coffee at Café Cirino at 10am and kick back. We can do laps of Nelson Place and The Strand and/or Hobsons Bay Men’s Shed Car and Bike Show.
16th : Club Ride ; Memorial and Absent Friends ride.
This annual memorial ride, originally named after the late Don Glenister (club secretary) held in June each year.
This year we will be going to the Mt.Macedon Memorial Cross for a moment of reflection, before heading to the Mount Macedon Hotel for lunch. Expect approx. 80km run to the destination.

2nd : the Annual General Meeting ; Starts earlier than usual at 7:00pm sharp, so make sure you have your nominations in well before this meeting as none will be accepted on the night.
Make sure your membership is up to date before the AGM in order to vote (if necessary) as no membership payments will be accepted on the night. Lite refreshments will be supplied on the night, if you are wanting a meal, come early and order, please be seated well beforehand.
7th : Classics Ride ; This Sundays Classic Ride we head to The Greendale Pub where an Open Fire, refreshing drink and a country pub meal awaits. The weather is looking favourable but it will be cool so dress accordingly. Return distance is approximately 200km. We leave from café Cirino at 10am, we will try to avoid freeways. All members welcome.

21st : Club Ride ; This ride will be to the Blackwood Hotel, I’m sure they will have the open fire roaring! Andrew has scoped it out, the route to be taken is sure to be an interesting one, devised by Andrew himself.

4th : Classics Ride ; Meeting at Cafe Cerino, we will be heading on a short ride to Wyndham Harbour for lunch, we won’t be booking any venue so be prepared. There are a couple of choices to suit all budgets. 3030 Waterfront and the café on the corner. Hopefully the weather will be kind to us.

18th : Club Ride ; This ride will be to “The Stables” eatery in Malmsbury. There will be a pick-up at the BP Truck Stop on the Western Freeway Rockbank @ 10:30am.
Malmsbury is in central Victoria, on the Old Calder Highway, 95 km north-west of Melbourne, and 11 km north-west of Kyneton. Situated close by the Coliban River, Malmsbury has a population of 1,101.
The Malmsbury Viaduct over the Coliban River is 100m long and 25m high. Built 1858 to 1861.

September 2024
1st : Classics Ride ; This is Fathers Day! Happy Father’s day to all the fathers in the Club. The Classics are having an impromptu BYO BBQ at the Williamstown front beach in the Hatt Reserve BBQ area just near the Rotunda.
Meet at Cafe Cerino as usual at around 10am.

15th : Club Ride ; This ride will be heading to Newstead, where we will get lunch at the “Dig Cafe”. It’s on the corner of Panmure street and the Pyrenees Hwy in the heart of town.
Although in the goldfields region, Newstead did not have much gold. It was a crossing place on the Loddon River for miners travelling to the Castlemaine and Mount Alexander diggings. In 1853 a hotel was built nearby and its name, Newstead, was adopted by the new township.

October 2024
1st : General Meeting ; Starts at 8:00pm sharp, so make sure you have ordered dinner, got a drink and seated well beforehand.
5th : Saturday: Motorcycle Awareness Month event
Unfortunately, at this point in time (a week before Saturday) Saturday has been forecast to be a wet one. If the forecast changes to a dry day, the plan for those who are interested in participating is to leave Cafe Cirino at 10am and meet up with members at BP little river at approx. 10.30 am.
Then we will ride to Transvaal Square on the Geelong waterfront. Lunch will be as you please as their is a few options near by on the water front. It will be good for the club to be seen supporting and promoting safe motorcycling and engaging in the community.
6th : Classics Ride ; Classics ride will start off at Williamstown’s time ball tower located at the end of Nelson Place just as you hit the water front. With the help of Rosa McKenna the club has secured two local aspiring Photographers who would like to photograph the club in two locations. The first will be at Time ball tower at 10am then we will move to Sebastian’s on the water front located at 26 Esplanade Williamstown. The plan is to take group photos at those two locations. Then the classic ride will proceed to the Altona Mens Shed after that. This invitation is open to all club members who may wish to participate not only classics. So if your free and are interested in joining in I’ll see you all at Time Ball Tower at 10 am Sunday 6th of October. Don’t forget its the start of day light savings so you need to turn your clocks forward one hour.
18-19-20th : Weekend ride to Port Campbell
Departure 10am Friday from Cafe Cirino. There will be a pick-up at the BP Truck stop at Little River on the Princess Freeway M1 and another at Moriac.
20th : Club Ride ; For those not going on the weekend ride to Port Campbell, meet at Cafe Cirino at 9:30-10 am and we can decide!
Australian MotoGP; No formal event organized due to the Port Campbell weekend ride.
