4th : For this classic ride I thought we’d avail ourselves of the January toll free weekend time

18th : Club Ride ; A CHANGE OF LOCATION no longer Yea as a precaution due to recent bushfires.
We are now heading to the “Pig & Whistle” in East Trentham (approx 100km one way). There will be a pick-up from the Rockbank BP service station on the M1 at approx 10:30am.
The pub in a paddock. Since 1887, this iconic pub has nestled on a quiet corner in Trentham East, a living reminder of the town’s early history and its Irish settlers. They offer family-friendly hospitality with fantastic food, great local wines, beer garden and live music.
27th : Classics informal Meeting ; CANCELLED DUE TO EXTREEM TEMPERATURE expected still to be 40+ at 7pm today .
February 2026
1st : Classics Ride ; A ride to the “Rustic Ram” Cafe/restaurant, located in the heart of Meredith, approx 100km from Williamstown no matter which way you go! We will be departing Café Cirino at 10 am……..all Members Welcome, you don’t need a Classic bike.
3rd : General Meeting ; Starts at 8:00pm sharp, so make sure you have ordered dinner, got a drink and seated well beforehand.
8th : NON CLUB EVENT ; The “Festival of Italian Motorcycles” put on by the MOTO GUZZI Club of Victoria and will be held at the National Steam Centre 1200 Ferntree Gully Road Scoresby, 9am to 2pm.
15th : Club Ride ; We are off to Wye River, this ride has been moved from January to avoid the holiday crowds, we will be taking the inland route through Moriac, Deans Marsh and Lorne before the short stretch of GOR to Wye River.
21st: SATURDAY ; Mid-summer Dinner and Pub Crawl.
The optional pub crawl starts at 6:30 pm, at the Customs House Hotel. Then walk, bicycle, or use a designated driver. But don’t crawl. Anyone found crawling will be sent home!
Dinner is at the Morning Star Hotel. Be there at 7:30pm.

24th : Classics informal Meeting ; We will be at Monzarella Italian Restaurant 231 Nelson Pl, Williamstown VIC 3016, the event….. Starts at about 6:30 to 7:00pm, so come along and order dinner and a drink and talk about old bike stuff.
March 2026
1st : Classics Ride ; This ride will be an early coffee run to the Naked Racer Café (AKA Antique Motorcycles) in Cheltenham. Leaving from Café Cirino at 9am. I estimate we will arrive at around 10am. Grab a coffee and peruse the vast collection that “Straw” ( Johnny Gee) has collected over the years. Then you can either stay for lunch, explore further down the peninsula or head home early the choice is yours. No booking required just turn up. This ride will suit older slower bikes.
We will be departing Café Cirino at 9am……..all Members Welcome, you don’t need a Classic bike.

13th to 15th: The 2026 Presidents Ride, This 3 day weekend ride will be based in Rutherglen. Presidents-Ride_Rutherglen
The 8:30am departure from Cafe Cirino, will take us via Mansfield and the King Valley to Whitfield or the San Miranda winery, Oxley, for lunch before the last leg to Rutherglen. (366km)
The !0:00am departure from Cafe Cirino, for those who “just want to get there” taking the ring road to the Hume freeway, then following the Hume to Springhurst before turning north to Rutherglen (306km)
Please let Andrew (Ride Co-Ordinator) know if you are attending so he can book the Pub for dinners.
Bookings for accommodation is up to you to organize, see attached for more details.
15th : Club Ride ; Alternative ride to YEA for those not on the Presidents ride. As our ride captain will be on the Presidents ride this weekend, he will not be able to lead an alternative ride on this day. As in previous years we will be holding a ride to meet those on the Presidents ride at Yea for lunch. So, turn up at Cafe Cirino for a 10am departure to YEA.

April 2026
5th : Classics Ride ; This is Easter Sunday, so if you are still wanting to go on a short ride (and I do mean short) Rick will be at Cafe Cirino for a 10am departure. Possibly to the Mens shed in Altona or the Werribee South area.
NOTE that there will be another Classic ride going ahead on the 12th of April

12th : Classics Ride ; The ride will stop in at the Broadford State Motorcycle Sports Complex for the Victorian Historic Road Race Championships (HMRAV) This event features historic racing for motorcycles and sidecars manufactured up to 1982.
There’s bound to be a hotdog or a burger stand where you can get something for lunch. We will be departing Café Cirino at 10 am,
The route is pretty straight forward heading toward Mickleham Rd. There’s a short freeway section to avoid a dirt section of Old Sydney Rd and too much of a detour along Donnybrook Rd then hugging the Hume (but not on it) after Beveridge. There is a 7-eleven at the corner of Mickleham Rd and Melrose Drive that I’ll stop at if people want to join there. The 7-11 is about 25kms from Willi so we should be there around 1030-1100

19th : Club Ride ; Destination is now to Strath Creek with a pickup at the BP Rockbank and another in the railway station carpark, Diggers Rest. Lunch at “The General” in Strath Creek. The route will be 150km to Strath Creek providing our leader doesn’t get lost!
24 to 26th : NON CLUB EVENT. The 48th All British Rally at the Old Newstead Racecourse. The “All British Rally” is run by the BSA Owners Association. To book go to BSA Motorcycle Owners Association Inc – All British Rally® Some WMCC members do attend this rally, if you are wanting to go for the weekend contact any of the committee, alternatively we are running a ride to this event on Saturday, see below….
25th : SATURDAY (Anzac Day) Ride to Maldon for the ABR Motorcycle display in the main street. If you are wanting to come on a ride with other club members, we will be meeting at Cafe Cerino and leaving at 10:00am, there will also be a pick-up from the BP in Rockbank leaving at about 10:30am

3rd : Classics Ride ; This ride will be to Greenvale, approximately 35 km from Cafe Cirino. We will be departing Café Cirino at 10 am……..all Members Welcome, you don’t need a Classic bike.

17th : Club Ride ; Lancefield in central Victoria approximately 90km north of Melbourne. We will most likely take a route avoiding freeways in order to make the trip a little more interesting.
17th : Non Club Event ; Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride.
Classic and vintage style motorcycles, dressing dapper and riding to raise funds and awareness for men’s mental health and prostate cancer research. You must log into The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride and register to get ride information and to view details.

June 2026
2nd : the Annual General Meeting ; Starts earlier than usual at 7:00pm sharp, so make sure you have your committee nominations in well before this meeting as none will be accepted on the night.
Make sure your membership is also up to date before the AGM in order to vote (if necessary) as no membership payments will be accepted on the night. Lite refreshments will be supplied on the night, if you are wanting a meal, come early and order, please be seated well beforehand.
7th : Classics Ride ; This ride will be to Greendale Pub for lunch via Werribee., approximately 75 km from Cafe Cirino. We will be departing Café Cirino at 10 am and heading to the BP Truck Stop on the corner of Ballan and McGrath Roads Werribee. From there we’ll head towards Bacchus Marsh, Myrniong then Greendale………all Members Welcome, you don’t need a Classic bike.
17th : Club Ride ; Memorial and Absent Friends ride. This ride will be to the Memorial cross Mt. Macedon for a “Ride to Remember” Service at the cross, before a lunch at the Mt. Macedon Hotel. It tends to be on the cooler side on the mountain, so come dressed accordingly and ride to the conditions.

5th : Classics Ride ; This ride will be to Bacchus Marsh. Start at Cafe Cirino at 10am. Pickup at BP Rockbank about 1030am………all Members and friends welcome, you don’t need a Classic bike.
7th : General Meeting ; Starts at 8:00pm sharp, so make sure you have ordered dinner, got a drink and seated well beforehand.
19th : Club Ride ; Lancefield in central Victoria approximately 90km north of Melbourne. There will be a pick-up at the car park at the Diggers Rest railway station for those choosing to join the ride from the Northwest. Please be prompt and have a full tank – there is no planned a fuel stop and Lancefield is 150kms. We’ll just use the Westgate/Calder to get to Diggers Rest then a tortuous route eventuating (hopefully) arriving Lancefield. I was planning a divert through Darraweit Guim, Wallan and Kilmore so a bit of a long way around.

2nd : Classics Ride ; To Lara lakes, approx. 77km. Start at Cafe Cirino at 10am. ……..all Members Welcome, you don’t need a Classic bike. The ride will be via Werribee South before heading through Little River and onto Lara where we will stop for lunch at the Millars Cafe. This is quite a popular little cafe Sunday bookings are essential, so I will require you to let me know if you are coming so I can book your spot.

16th : Club Ride ; Malmsbury in central Victoria approximately 110km north of Melbourne. There will be a short stop and pick-up at the BP truck stop in Rockbank. We will most likely take a route avoiding freeways in order to make the trip a little more interesting, this route will be approx 133km one way to Malmsbury. The plan is to have lunch at the Stables, 15 Ellesmere Place, which is just across the road from the Botanical Gardens. There is also a very good bakery in the main shopping strip for those just wanting something lite.

Last month’s event at Pelicans Landing attracted quite a few members that we hadn’t seen at a classic gathering for some time, so come along and join the fray!

16 to 18th : Vice-Presidents Ride ; Fish Creek; SE of Melbourne – Approx. 180km from Cafe Cirino by the shortest route. Ride details here
Fish Creek is a small dairy farming community in Gippsland, Victoria, Australia. It sits in between the Boon wurrung and Gunai/Kurnai Indigenous regions. Fish Creek and the surrounding area had a population of around 827. It was named for the many river blackfish in the creek that runs alongside the town.
18th: Club Ride : For those who are not going on the weekend ride and wanting to go for a ride on this Sunday, just come along to Cafe Cirino and see who arrives, then chose a destination and enjoy the ride and each other’s company.

13th: CLUB CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION 
There will be a short ride commencing at Cafe Cirino at 10am that will end up at the Pirates Tavern for the Clubs Christmas function, some along and enjoy the celebrations with your fellow clubbies. This year’s catering will be from “Neale’s Spit Roast” from all reports they put on a very nice spread. The Clubbie of the year presentation will be awarded to some very deserving member, so be sure to register for this event and not to miss out, details on registration will be communicated closer to the event.
